The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous Porth Beach, perfect for morning strolls.

The room I stayed in had a lovely vibe that made relaxing easy after a long day. The comfortable bed was a definite highlight, perfect for kicking back after exploring the area.

The hotel felt a bit dated, with some rusty fixtures in the bathroom. The shower had low water pressure, and the harsh, clinical white lights in the room weren't exactly soothing. Plus, parking was a hassle when I arrived due to an event, and I could hear the generator humming away, disturbing my sleep until 7 AM. All of that said, it was still a comfy place with decent value overall.

parking nightmare

i almost wanted to give a good review, but i just couldn’t. the shower had dismal low pressure and i could hear the generator belching away all night. and can we talk about the awful parking? it was a nightmare! expected a welcome gift since i’m such a discerning guest, but no.

our stay at porth lodge was just incredibly fab. the staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home, and the breakfast was delish with tons of options. loved that it was just a few mins walk to the beach – so perfect for morning strolls. plus, the bowling alley was a fun extra that we didn't expect! overall, this place def has a cozy vibe that makes you wanna come back.

the wifi was kinda hit and miss, which was annoying. also, the decor felt a bit outdated in some areas.

The beds are incredibly comfortable, making it easier to relax after a long day. The staff was very accommodating. they provided all the necessary information for my early taxi ride to the airport. The location is also lovely, with a nice ambiance around the area that invites a peaceful stroll in the evening.

Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the breakfast due to my early departure.
